ESMAG

Addressing Miami's Environmental Issues

ESMAG (Environmental Sustainability Miami Action Group) was established by the Rotarians in Miami-Dade as our City will be one of the first areas in the USA to be impacted by rising sea waters.  Additionally, we will be supporting Biscayne Bay restoration efforts which are sorely needed, as evidenced by a recent major fish kill due pollution and other factors.  ESMAG will be open to others beyond the Miami Rotary Club, as we are seeking to engage and involve other interested parties.

Joining ESMAG

ESMAG will be open to all Members of the Rotary Club of Miami and many others. Our concept is to integrate our efforts with the Interact Club at Miami Senior High School and the two Rotaract Clubs at Florida international University and at Miami Dade College. We have founded, sponsor and support these Clubs.  Additionally, children and grandchildren of Miami Rotary Club Members will be welcomed to join ESMAG, as will be non-Rotarian interested parties who are concerned about environmental issues in our area.
